All eyes will be on you when you wear this elegant coat, and those eyes will be green with envy!

This gorgeous fur coat is genuine beaver fur and comes from Eaton's, Canada's premier department store at the time.

It comes to you in virtually the same condition as when it was first purchased.

The elegant dark brown beaver fur is a classic style and color suitable for all occasions.

This is a heavy coat, weighing about 8 pounds and sure to keep you toasty warm.

The coat is fully lined and the lining is attached to the coat at the bottom, a sure sign of a quality-made garment.

Another sign that this is an exceptional coat is the strip of leather on the inside of the edge of each front panel,giving the coat more strength and durability where it would be susceptible to wear.

You will note the double-breasted look on the front. There is an inside sash attached to the interior right side which you pull through a loop on the left front panel of the coat in order to secure the coat and reduce stress on the button and loop closures.There are three button and loop closures down the front, with an additional hook and loop closure at the top to close the lapel area higher up. There is also a fully lined inside pocket strategically and conveniently placedat the edge of the right front section of the coat and easily accessible with the left hand without having to unfasten the coat to access the pocket's contents.

A monogram is on the inside of the coat with the initials 'V G', presumably the original owner, who was obviously a lady of quality and fashion, as is the coat.

A very generous 6" collar crowns the coat and will provide additional warmth and protection.

There is a slight a-line to the coat. The bottom hem 'sweep' measures 62".

The coat has two deep slash-type pockets which are lined in a soft brown heavy cotton-type material which not only keeps hands warm but is more resistant to tears.

The size is listed in the coat as 12 but please consult the measurements below to ensure a proper fit.

Shoulder: There are no shoulder seams so please use the Back measurement.

Back: 20" from underarm to underarm

Length: 46" from collar down in back

Sleeve: 23" from shoulder, 14" from underarm, 7" opening
